Description:We are partnered with a top consumer product good manufacturer aggressively expanding nationally to identify a NATIONAL DIRECTOR OF COST ACCOUNTING.

The right candidate for this role is someone who can roll up their sleeves in this busy, fast-paced and expanding organization of 1500 employees. The partners started 8 years ago in CA, and have expanded to 4 states with a new facility opening in the Northeast due to the high demand of their products. This position will be onsite in Miami-Dade County with the Accounting and Finance team. 

Compensation target is $150-165k plus bonus and you will be well taken care of with benefits including: health, dental, and vision insurance, wellness benefits, life insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, product discounts and more. Travel up to 25% in this role.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead a team of cost analysts across multiple states and regions
  • Be proficient in working with COGs (Cost of Goods Sold) within an ERP system
  • Lead an MRP system implementation, integrating Microsoft Dynamics for inventory and distribution management
  • Create SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)
  • Execute a comprehensive analysis and optimization of the Cost Accounting department
  • Upgrade the financial reporting system, incorporate Power BI for data management and Raven software for direct data capture from machinery
  • Guide transition from now average to standard costing, handle variance analysis
  • Streamline cost accounting operations with advanced solutions such as AI
  • Be a crucial figure in risk management; particularly in cost and supply chain aspects
  • Manage production workflow and cost analysis, encompassing purchase order management, forecasting, inventory control and waste tracking
