As the Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be a pivotal player in the company’s financial leadership, collaborating closely with the Chief Financial Officer, the Executive Leadership Team, and the Board. Your role is instrumental in scaling the financial operations, aligning with the company's growth trajectory and market expansion in the rapidly growing cannabis industry. You will leverage your expertise to enhance and implement strategies for revenue growth, optimize cost structures, and make informed capital expenditure decisions.


What You’ll Be Doing: 
  • Develop and enhance advanced financial models to inform decisions regarding revenue and expenses.
  • Assume responsibility for maintaining the company's comprehensive three-statement financial model.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to support strategic decisions and maximize Return on Investment (ROI).
  • Spearhead financial planning processes, including annual operating plans and rolling forecasts, while establishing milestones and targets.
  • Monitor and provide transparent reports on performance compared to the plan, facilitating informed strategic and operational decisions.
  • Serve as a crucial financial liaison to cross-functional teams, nurturing relationships with key stakeholders and senior leadership to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Implement systems and procedures to streamline financial planning processes, concentrating on value-added activities.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing team, serving as a talent hub throughout the organization.

What You Bring to the table: 
  • Background in financial leadership within companies with revenues exceeding $200M, preferably in rapidly expanding manufacturing firms.
  • Demonstrated success in developing, leading, and overseeing high-performing teams.
  • Comfortable engaging hands-on with intricate financial models.
  • Proficient analytical abilities, capable of summarizing complex data into concise executive briefs.
  • Agile and adaptable, possessing a robust problem-solving approach and adeptness in handling ambiguity.
  • Outstanding communication and management skills, skilled in interacting with external stakeholders such as auditors, investors, and customers.
  • Capacity to collaborate and foster team success for the betterment of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Over 10 years of pertinent experience, including essential leadership roles in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).
