Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with expertise in U.S. GAAP accounting, and controller functions for a contract position prior to acquisition. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading complex projects and driving financial strategies within organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the clean up of the accounting transactions and processes of a small privately owned company prior to acquisition and merge to the clients accounting systems


• Assess financial performance and risk.


• Prepare and present reports to upper management and stakeholders.


• Ensure compliance with all accounting principles and standards.


• Manage financial reporting and budgeting processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).


• 5+ years of experience in progressive accounting roles


• Proven experience as an Assistant Controller 


• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.


• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

Compensation:

Compensation for this position is $125-130k and will be discussed during the interview process.
