Our Fleet proudly provides top-tier fleet maintenance and repair solutions for light- to medium-duty vehicles and trailers in DFW, Texas.
We are growing and currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Auto/Diesel Truck Technician with specialized expertise in General Motors, Chevy, Dodge, and/or Ford vehicles. The Master Diesel Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining medium duty and heavy-duty trucks to ensure optimal performance and reliability in the shop.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:00pm, (Some Saturdays, as needed)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80k-$180k+/yr

Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on diesel engines including General Motors, Ford, Chevy, and Dodge.
  • Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
  • Interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics to guide repair and maintenance procedures.
  • Communicate with service advisors and customers regarding repairs.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience working on light to medium duty diesel trucks required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification from an accredited diesel mechanic program is preferred.
  • Cummins, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford or General Motors experience preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge and proficiency of diagnostics and repairs to diesel engines, electrical systems, chassis, transmissions, and emissions components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic codes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in diagnosing and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with team members and customers.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (for service calls).
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
  • Skills, adeptness, and speed in the use of fingers, hands and/or limbs on repetitive operation of mechanical or electrical repair shop machines and tools.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing in excess of 60 pounds.
  • Move, load or unload material and parts for trucks and trailers.
  • Push and maneuver heavy objects using carts, dollies, or dumpsters weighing up to 150 pounds.
  • Exposure to noise, dust, cleaning solvents, battery acids, and exhaust fumes while in the shop work area.
  • Working within a service garage setting. Ability to calculate simple mathematical equations. Heavy phone usage, talking with customers. Exposure to noise, dust, cleaning solvents, and exhaust fumes.
