Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our power generation division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the diesel industry, with proven leadership skills and a strategic mindset to drive business growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership and Strategic Planning:
    • Provide visionary leadership to the power generation division, setting clear goals and objectives aligned with the company's overall strategy.
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth, expand market presence, and achieve financial targets.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
  2. Business Development and Sales:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base and revenue streams.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance market penetration and customer satisfaction.
    • Lead sales and marketing efforts, including pricing strategies, promotional activities, and customer engagement initiatives.
  3. Operations Management:
    • Oversee all aspects of the power generation division's operations, including production, quality control, logistics, and supply chain management.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
    • Implement efficient processes and workflows to optimize productivity, minimize costs, and maximize profitability.
  4. Team Building and Development:
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of professionals, fostering talent retention and career advancement opportunities.
    • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to enhance employee engagement, morale, and productivity.
    • Promote a culture of accountability, integrity, and ethical conduct throughout the organization.
  5. Financial Management:
    • Manage the division's budget, forecasts, and financial performance, with a focus on cost control, revenue growth, and profitability.
    • Analyze financial data, market trends, and industry benchmarks to make informed business decisions and strategic investments.
    • Drive operational efficiencies and resource optimization to achieve financial targets and deliver sustainable results.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in the power generation or diesel industry, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales management, and operational leadership.
  • Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines, power generation systems, and related equipment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex issues, develop innovative solutions, and drive execution.
