Our client is a dynamic, growing, clinical leader in the rapidly expanding wound care arena.
Job Description Summary
Provide training, coaching and direction to sales representatives to achieve territory objectives.
Improve sales representatives’ sales skills through interaction during weekly field rides.
Ensure proper sales representative territory coverage, account penetration and sales time allocation to emphasis products through monitoring of sales representative activities.
Conduct job performance evaluations and outline development plans for sales representatives during each field ride.
Interact with various other departments to communicate field intelligence including status of current plans of action, product reimbursement and competitive activity.
Identify representatives who demonstrate leadership traits and work with Region Director to create additional development opportunities.
Identifies representatives who consistently do not meet company standards and works with Region Director to devise corrective action for success.
Attain district sales goals through proper interaction with sales representatives and key customers.
Dedicate proper time to recruiting in order to prevent territory downtime due to promotions, expansion and turnover.
Demonstrate exceptional coaching, administrative and organizational skills.
Maintain mutually beneficial relationships with key customers, decision makers and thought leaders.
Undertake activities that add to his/her professional and personal growth and development.
Demonstrate effective leadership skills.
Demonstrate exceptional presentation skills.
Job Requirements Minimum:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university is required.
Additionally qualified candidate must have at least four years of sales experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical industries.
Previous successful sales management experience, and experience as a Sales Trainer is strongly preferred.
Must be willing to relocate within the applicable sales district if required.
