RESPONSIBILITIES:

The person will drive the regional business development, strategic account planning, and overall sales of complex contact center solutions for both new target accounts and existing customer accounts. In this role the Contact Center Overlay sales person will perform the lead role in the sales process as a subject matter expert and drive the identification and qualification of contact center sales opportunities, serve as the main customer contact and trusted advisor, and act as a liaison between the account managers and the pre-sales and delivery organizations to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. • Develop and execute regional business plans with the respective regional sale manager and area vice president.
• Drive complex call center opportunities from inception to customer approval and sign-off
• Work with pre-sales solution architects to deliver Bill of Materials, Professional Services quotes, Professional Services statement of work (SOW), and Managed Services quotes
• Develop and deliver sales proposals tailored to the specific needs of the customer
• Engages the client at a detailed level to gain a detailed understand the business issues and objectives driving the client’s Call Center project.
• Identifies the need for, and engages the appropriate vendor or partner personnel with the proper skill set to assist the solution and technology definition as required by the customer’s opportunity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Fifteen (15) years of professional experience
• Ten (10) years of call center experience in management consulting or industry, with a level of senior manager, director or department manager achieved and sustained for at least three years
• Bachelor’s degree required with consultative selling training methodologies also preferred
• In depth knowledge of business drivers for call center and CRM solutions
• In depth knowledge of the business and technical aspects of building and operating a call center

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Solution Architect is a consultative sales, technology and solution focused specialist who creates great client intimacy with their technical expertise. In addition to being viewed as a trusted technical advisor to the client, the Solution Architect will also have regional responsibility for solution design, business development, transition of projects from presales to delivery, and sales support while maintaining national responsibility for the development and rollout of new solutions. The Solution Architect provides pre-sales technical support and expertise in analyzing customer requirements, in conjunction with the customer’s current network and system capabilities, and ensuring technical solutions will accomplish the customer's objectives.

The role requires strong customer engagement on medium sized clients, which requires the ability to partake in scope of work determination, product pricing and RFP/RFI responses. The individual works closely with the sales account manager throughout this process and will also assist in the decision to pursue or abort a deal. A strong vendor relationship is required to ensure an understanding of the vendor’s products business/ technology positioning. The individual is expected to manage customer proof of concept (POC) initiatives, which will require the involvement of the appropriate resources, and setup and delivery of the POC. In order to obtain a working customer solution, the position acts as a bridge between the customer, delivery resources and project management. On all medium sized engagements, the Solution Architect owns the proposed solution, transitions the build / implementation to the delivery team, however remains engaged with the client through transfer to managed services and returns as “thought leaders” for the next opportunity. All processes should comply with all defined project management methodologies.

Progression is possible vertically to Senior Solution Architect, Practice Manager, or laterally to Consultant or Senior/Project Manager or into the Sales Organization.


Major Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop an understanding of this client’s market positioning, vision and solution value add

Required Qualifications and Education:
