5% - Travel to other Aerojet Rocketdyne, customer and/or supplier sites for design reviews and technical interface meetings.Requirements:
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics (Advance degree preferred) with an emphasis in electrical systems design and nine (9) or more years of directly related experience in systems engineering and product development or an equivalent combination of education and experience is desired.
 
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level .  US Citizenship only required. Dual Citizenship does not meet job qualifications. This position requires the employee to have access to premises  or perform duties which are subject to national security requirements of the United States under government contracts that impose US Citizenship requirements for such positions.     
   
 
Additional Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:Advanced knowledge of technology principles, theories and concepts in the electrical, electromechanical, systems design, test and integration, and system qualification required.Thorough understanding of the product lifecycle management and engineering development “V Model.”Must have demonstrated experience in development of advanced products for airborne and/or space applications.Experience with hardware and software technologies, electrical power conversion, DC/DC conversion, FPGA, space electronics design and qualification, EEE parts management, analog circuit design, circuit modeling, electromagnetic testing is highly desirable.
