This position will be working on the MAOP validation project where they must have previous experience with designing gas pipelines and working with the DOT code. This position will be working on the second phase of the Pipeline Data Project where they will be ensuring that all 2500 miles of high pressure pipelines in Xcel Energy ownership have proper documentation to run its system at its desired Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure(MAOP). Position is responsible for project engineering required for gas transmission pipeline remediation to ensure compliance with Xcel Pipeline Standards and PHMSA regulatory requirements. Project engineering includes evaluating data from existing pipeline records, applying results at a pipe segment level thru a decision process and building job packets to support remediation including pressure testing, pipeline replacement, pipeline excavation and/or revised operating setpoints.

Multiple concurrent projects require prioritizing, scheduling and implementing pipeline remediation to meet Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP) per 49 CFR 192 throughout Xcel Energy's gas transmission pipeline system. Coordinate with Xcel Operations, Integrity Management and Gas Engineering to assess system risk, adopt and enforce applicable specifications and implement corrective action. Contribute to data management best practices by working with Mapping, Eng Support Services and consulting engineering firms to ensure project data is complete, accurate and uploaded into Xcel's GIS database. Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in gas pipeline operating pressure validation and remediation. Make decisions independently on engineering problems and methods, and has working knowledge of gas pipeline construction methods and operations.

Essential Responsibilities One or more of the following:
1) Project engineer reviews all data sources for a given pipeline, identifies data gaps relative to regulatory requirements and recommends appropriate remediation.
2) Strong attention to detail required to link source records to specific pipeline segments for all pipeline features and attributes.
3) Supervision and guidance relate largely to overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters.
4) Consults with supervisor concerning unusual problems and developments.

Need a hands-on, data network technical specialist with expertise in network operations. Applicant should have general data network operations experience covering WAN and LAN routing and switching, DNS/IP address management, firewalls, load balancing, VPN and VoIP/QoS for medium to large, global enterprises.

This position will assist the existing network staff by taking ownership of service requests, incident tickets, and by participating in design and implementation projects.

Responsibilities
• Resolve incidents through effective troubleshooting methodology
• Fulfill user service requests for firewall port configuration, DNS, etc. within the pre-determined service level timeframes
• Assist others in the troubleshooting and fulfillment processes
• Provide fundamental design and consultation on projects and other special requests
• Track time per department guidelines
• Update network documentation when applicable
• Address security concerns by resolving issues associated with vulnerability scans
• Liaison with WAN data network carriers
• Document configurations and process

Position Requirements
• CCNA or greater experience with Cisco networking
• F5 BigIP experience
• Familiarity with Service Now or service management systems
• Ability to manage many requests at the same time
• Ability to quickly get up to speed on Carlson process
• Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed

- Build, scale, and secure www.bestbuy.com infrastructure, focusing specifically on a fully automated Linux environment
- Design, develop and improve automation and tools for systems management, including development of scripts for our fully automated environment with Opscode Chef

Must Have:
